Accelerator and gear faulty??

Postby marllee » Wed Mar 25, 2009 3:48 pm

Hi. I just get my M-line manual BLM.

I notice that normally when I need to change gear I would need to release the accelerator but after I release the accelerator, I notice that the RPM shoot up and then go down back.
Another issue is the gear box, when I try to put in reverse gear or 5th gear, it will actually have contact on the gear plastic cover, it seem that the gear is more nearer to the right side, so when I change to reverse or 5th gear it will some how knock at the plastic.

Anyone of u all have the same issue?

5th gear difficult to engage. I drive the BLM (MT). Reverse is grinding when engaging. RPM does not come down immediately even when my foot is off the accelerator. The steering wheel vibrates. The accelerator vibrates. Anyone know how i can get a refund?? Fed up with this car.

not sure about the gear, but the thing about the throttle is just how the drive-by-wire is. In neutral, try pumping the pedal once. Notice that split-second lag before the engine reacts? :D

cheers!
